Functional Fitness - My goal is to not be limited in the way I move in everyday activities. CrossFit is functional movement and allows the opportunity to perform these movements on a regular basis.
Scalability - I believe that one of the lesser known benefits of CrossFit is the flexibility to scale movements. My goal is not to be the strongest or fastest. As I “mature” (ok, get old) my goal is to continue to be in a position to move with minimal restrictions.
Community - People find CrossFit for different reasons and come from all sorts of different backgrounds. Being in what I’ll call the CrossFit “trenches” day in and day out with others fosters a strong sense of community. I am proud to say that some of my treasured friendships come from this community.
